Terms of Use

Count: Blackjack Card Counting ("Count") is a card counting practice app made by Transcend Frontiers. By downloading or using Count, you agree to these terms.

Who can use Count

Count is meant for adults. You must be at least 17 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that's higher, to use it.

What Count is

Count is a training tool for practicing card counting systems such as Hi-Lo. It deals simulated cards and checks your answers. There's no real-money gambling in the app, and nothing in it can be won, cashed out or exchanged for anything of value.

No gambling advice

Card counting doesn't guarantee winnings. Casinos can refuse play to anyone, and the rules and laws around blackjack vary by location. Nothing in Count is financial, legal or gambling advice. If you gamble, you're responsible for following local laws and the house rules, and for any money you win or lose. If gambling stops being fun, help is available at 1-800-GAMBLER in the US.

Subscriptions

Count is free to download. Count Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Your data

How Count handles information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The app, its design and its content are owned by Transcend Frontiers. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse engineer it without written permission. Counting systems such as Hi-Lo, KO, Hi-Opt, Omega II and Zen are referred to by their common names for practice purposes.

Disclaimer

Count is provided as is. We don't guarantee that it will be error-free or always available, or that practicing with it will improve your results at a table. To the extent the law allows, Transcend Frontiers isn't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app, including any gambling losses.

Apple

These terms are between you and Transcend Frontiers, not Apple. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of Count.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time and will change the date below when we do. Continuing to use Count after a change means you accept the updated terms.
