Keep the count. Then check it.

Is card counting legal?
In the US, keeping a count in your head is not illegal. Casinos are private businesses, though, and can stop you from playing blackjack or ask you to leave. Count is a practice tool. It doesn't connect to any game and has no real-money play.
Which system should I learn first?
Hi-Lo. Every card counts +1, 0 or −1, and most books and strategy tables are written for it. It's the system in Count's free version.
What is the true count?
The running count divided by the number of decks left in the shoe. A running count of +6 with three decks left is a true count of +2. Count shows it every time you reveal, and Count Pro has a drill just for the conversion.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up, and your scores and stats stay on your iPhone. See the privacy policy for details.
