CountPrivacy Policy
Count: Blackjack Card Counting has no accounts, no analytics and no servers of its own. Your settings, scores and drill history are stored on your iPhone. The only time the app talks to anyone else is when you buy, restore or check a Count Pro subscription.
What the app stores
These are saved on your device only:
- Your drill settings: counting system, number of decks, pace, cards at a time and drill mode
- Your score: correct answers, attempts and current streak
- Your stats history: for each answer, the time, system, drill type, pace, deck count and whether you were right
- Your appearance choice (system, light or dark)
What we don't collect
No name, email, location, contacts or photos. Count doesn't ask for any device permissions, and none of the data above is sent to us.
Analytics and tracking
Count doesn't include any analytics or advertising SDKs. It doesn't track you across other apps or websites, and nothing is sold or used for ads.
Third-party services
Two services are involved when you use Count Pro:
- Apple App Store: Handles all billing. Apple's privacy policy covers payment transactions.
- RevenueCat: Checks whether you have an active Count Pro subscription. It receives your App Store receipt, purchase identifiers and a random app user ID that isn't linked to your name or email. revenuecat.com/privacy
Deleting your data
You can reset your score from the setup screen, and Count Pro subscribers can clear their stats history from the Stats screen. Deleting the app removes everything else it stored. Your subscription is tied to your Apple Account, so restoring purchases after reinstalling brings Count Pro back.
Your rights
Your data is on your device and you control it. California residents have the right to know what's collected and to request deletion. Since we don't hold any of it on our end, the only copy is on your device. Questions about purchase records held by RevenueCat can be sent to us and we'll help.
Children
Count is meant for adults and isn't directed at children under 13. If you think a child has been using the app, contact us at [email protected].
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date below. Continuing to use Count after a change means you accept the updated policy.
