Privacy Policy
Halo keeps everything on your device. There's no backend, no user accounts, and no server-side storage. Here's what the app holds and why.
What We Store
Everything below lives on your device only and never leaves it:
- Your date of birth: used to calculate your life path number. Never sent anywhere.
- Your selected intentions and angel numbers
- Journal entries you log (number sightings and notes)
- App settings like alert times, notification preferences, and time format
Subscription status is fetched from Apple and RevenueCat each time you open the app.
Photo Library
If you save a share card, Halo asks to write one image to your photo library. It never reads photos you already have.
What We Don't Collect
No name, email, location, or contacts. Halo has no user accounts and no backend.
Tracking
Halo doesn't track you across other apps or websites. Your data is never sold or used for ads.
Third-Party Services
A few services are used to keep the app running:
- RevenueCat: Handles subscription purchases. May collect your App Store receipt and purchase identifiers to validate your subscription. revenuecat.com/privacy
- Apple App Store: All billing goes through Apple. Apple's privacy policy covers payment transactions.
- Apple Push Notification Service: Delivers the angel number alerts you set up. No message content passes through our servers.
- Sentry: Crash reporting. If the app breaks, Sentry may collect device model, OS version, app version, and a stack trace. Used only to fix bugs. No personal info is intentionally sent. sentry.io/privacy
Notifications
Alerts are scheduled locally on your device. Nothing goes through our servers.
Deleting Your Data
Delete the app and all your data goes with it. That's it.
Your Rights
Your data is on your device and you control it. California residents have the right to know what's collected and to request deletion. Since we don't hold anything on our end, the only copy is on your device. Questions? [email protected].
Kids
Halo isn't for anyone under 13. If you think a child under 13 is using the app, reach out at [email protected].
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date here and push an app update. Keep using Halo after that and you're good with the new version.
